Art Deco Window Display 2024 

Napier CBD storefronts become time machines

With a record number of entries this year, 26 in total – the Art Deco Window Display competition challenges businesses to showcase their creativity by decorating their windows in the iconic art deco style.

Judged by Napier Mayor Kirsten Wise, Art Deco Trust Chair Jeremy Smith, NCBI Chair Lizzie Russell and NCBI General Manager Pip Thompson,  this competition brings historic charm to the city streets.

We invite locals and visitors to take a stroll through the CBD and admire the window displays that will transport you back to the glamour of the 1930s. A map of participating venues is available below. Displays will be up between 13-19 February. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page!
