Start your day with a good brew and an Easter treat!

The choices are endless here! Mister D, Six Sisters on the Marine Parade, Georgia on Tennyson, Hapi Cafe and Kolachi, Salt cafe and Cafe Tennyson, Bay Coffee House, Cappadonna, Harvest Deli, or That Sandwich shop!

What to do next will need to be a family decision!

If you love shopping then this is an absolute must-do and Emerson St/Tennyson St and Hastings St is where fashion starts and stops. Saturdays are always Napier Urban Farmers Market Days in Clive Square. Fresh is best and everything here is still breathing life so get your weekend produce here. Plus there’s an Easter Egg trail on Saturday.

Kids may be bored of shopping so head up to the Marine Parade and enjoy a round of golf at Par2.

Or wander along the parade towards the playground and NZ National Aquarium and go shoot some hoops at our seaside basketball court.

Is it lunchtime yet? Well, have we got news for you! Hell yes!

There is much choice here and you won’t be led astray if you head down Emerson Street or via off to Market ST and along Tennyson Street or up to Hastings Street.

Cabinet food or choose from the menu including pizza, sandwiches, dumplings, salads, and the must-have on holiday ‘hot chips’ are all here in every cafe and restaurant. Plus a cheeky rose or craft beer whilst outside enjoying Hawke’s Bays sunshine!

Once lunch has settled after that second glass of Rose it’s time to move on to the afternoon activities!

Or maybe not! Long weekends call for long lunches however those active relaxers can head up to the Marine Parade for a wander or hire a bike and go a little further. There are many steps to climb finding your way to the top of Bluff Hill to check out the magnificent views of the city. Here’s the map!

As the day draws in it’s time to freshen up and get ready for your evening out.

This is where Napier City excels! Wine bars, cocktail bars, restaurants, cafes, speakeasy bars, and Irish pubs, we have them all. AND in walking distance of each other Counting on more than two hands we have literally got the lot! Casual or high end the choice is yours. There are two many to list however check out the Street signage in town and we have them all listed there.

We know there were more than 10 activities to choose from but to narrow the choice to 10 was too hard for us!
