Handsdown host a great little pop up in the CBD!

Handsdown, our great local tortilla factory, hosted a pop up ‘Taco Party’ last weekend alongside Rag Tag Taco and Brave brewing and it was a roaring success. 

Selling out of tortillas both nights was epic say the team from HandsDown including Will, Bradley, Henry and India and they said the consensus was people were absolutely stoked to be able to socialise outside in a casual setting in the CBD. 

A younger demographic (20-30 year olds) mentioned this finally felt like something for them and something they wish the city had more of. It dosesn’t need to be much, just a relaxed space to hang with friends and reasonably priced quality food and drink.
 
Many suggested more spaces around the city need to be brought to life through small events, art, music and light. Once people saw this specific carpark activated a heap of ideas about other city spaces and places emerged. 
 

Rag Tag Taco who are based in Auckland mentioned it was their favourite event so far with the plus of it being a commercial success by selling out of tacos each night
