Napier Assist Āwhina Tāngata launch

It was fabulous to officially celebrate the launch of Napier Assist Āwhina Tāngata on Wednesday.

Super proud to be so involved with the Napier Assist programme from the very beginning. The team are now on our streets supporting all the other agencies to help us all feel safer when visiting our city! And it’s working!

These guys and gals ooze energy, have a love for what they do and are making themselves known to all the retailers in the CBD!

While there are Napier Assist officers beating the streets there’s always another team member watching the number of CCTV cameras back at base so are quick to take action when required!

Thank you Napier City Council – Te Kaunihera o Ahuriri for listening to our community and taking action!

We can’t wait to see the programme evolve.
