The Hits Hawke’s Bay People’s Choice Star Award 2023

The competition promoter is Napier City Business Inc (NCBI) PO Box 526, Napier 4140. 

  1. There is no cost to enter this competition. Simply placing a vote for “Hawke’s Bay The Hits People’s Choice Retail Award” acts as entry to this competition. 
  2. One vote per person per business only.  The same person can not vote more than once for the same business.
  3. Only votes given for businesses within Napier City Business Inc. membership zone will be valid. These businesses are within the boundary of Marine Parade to Clive Square East, Station Street to Browning Street.
  4. The voting period is between 0900, 2 October  – 1700 and 5 November  2023 
  5. Entry is via the online form, which can be found at napiercbd.co.nz  via a QR code entry form found in a participating store or NZME office, 105 Dickens Street, Napier. 
  6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 
  7. The prize(s) maybe vouchers or items provided by Napier CBD businesses,  and can not be exchanged for cash and are for CBD Businesses  within the Napier City Business Inc. membership zone.  Prizes are not transferable.   
  8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 
  9. Email addresses received via this promotion can be used by Napier City Business Inc (NCBI) solely as a database to be used at some date in the future for promotional communications. The ability to opt out of this communication will be available from the initial email. 11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 
  10. One winner will be chosen at random from the list of entries made via both the online channels.  
  11. The winner will be notified by email within 3 days of the closing date (Friday 18 November). If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 
  12. The promoter will notify the winner when the prize can be collected. 
  13. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  14. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by New Zealand law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand. 
  15. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current New Zealand data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 
  16. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
