And tasty is our name. How else would we manage to Monger the Hunger? We’re fiercely proud to be local – there is so much to offer from our Hawkes Bay region and the wider East Coast from Gisborne down to the Wairarapa.
We’ve crammed our menu with as much variety of seafood as we can find, so much that we can’t possibly fit it on all the time!
From small Snacks and Bites; ‘Classics’ such as Chowder, Fish Taco and the ubiquitous Fish ‘n’ Chips; to our signature ‘Morsels’, Grilled Fish with Kumara Miso Mash and the Bouillabaisse.
Our menu always follows the seasons of the Sea and the Land, with some comings and goings at least once a month.
And a Strictly Seafood Affair: meaning there’s not a scrap of meat in sight.

Fresh local fish and New Zealand Seafood prepared and cooked with interesting flavour combinations using our local produce. We are proud to be champions of all Hawkes Bay has to offer.
