Let’s be honest, we don’t make it out to other bars much… we’re always at our own! Between the two, that’s more than enough cocktails for one week. On a busy day, nothing beats a consistently great coffee from Kolachi Cafe & Eatery to keep things moving.

Flo & Frankie and Decjuba are my go-to’s for a new outfit or the perfect gift. It’s hard to walk out empty-handed.
PLAY / SEE / DO
With three kids of different ages, walking or skating along Marine Parade keeps everyone happy.
Steve’s favourite ritual is the Napier Urban Farmers Market run on a Saturday – bacon and egg sandwiches and coffee with the kids before heading off to rugby. In summer, it’s all about Magnet Café – the kids can run wild while the grownups relax and soak up the sun after a big week.
WHY I CALL NAPIER HOME
Coming back to Napier was all about returning to my roots and being close to the beach made it an easy decision. It’s a beautiful lifestyle, and we love every minute of it.
