Rogue Hop – no question. If you’re after a proper post-work pint (568ml, none of that half-pint business), this is the spot. A cracking lineup of craft beers – everything from small-batch locals to bold national brews – all picked with care. The food’s just as impressive.

Minton Booklovers – a gem of a place. You can pick up a pre-loved book, enjoy it, then bring it back and swap it for something new. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and the owner, Paul, is one of the friendliest humans around.

Need a lunchtime reset? A quick stroll up Tiffen Park is the perfect escape from the CBD. It’s still a bit of a local secret – peaceful, scenic, and the view from the top is magic. Ten minutes up, five minutes down – sorted.
